Issues Facing Portage County

Project Promise and  Project S.O.A.R are collaborating on this initiative throughout the month of September..  Our campaign aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention, promote mental health, and create a supportive environment for individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts. The campaign will focus on education, community engagement, and accessible mental health resources.

Yellow September is a month-long awareness campaign that focuses on suicide prevention and mental health. The campaign is known as Yellow September because the color yellow is a symbol of support for suicide prevention and awareness.
