A COMMON THREAD COMMUNITY PROJECT

A Common Thread  Community Quilt Project was launched by Project Promise in May 2022.   

How does it work? 

We provide you with a 5x5 or 10x10 inch muslin square to decorate. You will decorate the square retelling your family history or what makes you Portage proud. Decorated squares are then returned to Project Promise and sewn together into panels. These panels become a larger installation that travels across Portage County and the state of Ohio.  This project is free to all community members who live in Portage County.
