About PROJECT PROMISE
As stated on our home page, Project Promise is a 501 (c)(4) organization founded in June 2021 by a group of engaged Portage County citizens who are concerned about the direction of America. We believe that all change begins on the local level, and strive to make Portage County a better place to raise our families.
If our nation's founders were alive today, they would be very disappointed in the direction our country is headed. They would wonder why we took such a major departure from their once glorious vision for America.
Our goal is to help America get back on track with our founder's glorious vision, and be again the shining city on the hill for all. We are guided by faith-based, family values and ideals, and strive to turn our frustrations into meaningful action.
We are tired of all the bad news we hear on the airways, and seek to bring together citizens who want to make a positive difference in their communities, but are unsure about how exactly to start.
Project Promise stands ready to be the catalyst for better future in Portage County. To achieve our goal for a better tomorrow, we take a multi-pronged approach.

ISSUE ADVOCACY
From ending human trafficking, to preserving the integrity of our democratic process, Project Promise advocates for and promotes a variety of consensus-building issues that will help bring our communities together, and make us stronger for the future.
education
The pillar of a strong community is having well-informed citizens. Project Promise seeks to start dialogues in the community that will help citizens become better informed on the issues facing our nation. We specifically strive to help citizens make the connection on how these issues can impact us at the local level.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Project Promise also believe that community service is an essential component of a thriving community. Our organization takes part in numerous community service events throughout the county. By participating in these events, we are able to connect with others, and see first-hand the needs in our community.
